Tempt My Tummy Tuesday White strawberry cake

This week is all about the birthday! So this week I will share the White cake that my Nana made me. It is easy and I believe she got the recipe from Taste of home in the '80s. That is what she wrote in my recipe book.  We always spent my birthday at the ocean so it was this or an apple pie! Next week I will add her Apple pie recipe She would put fresh strawberries around it and sugared daisies or pansy flowers, sometimes she would put sprinkles all over it and even in the batter. This is a recipe that is quick and easy and you truly can make this easier than a box cake.  If you use the recipe please leave a pic and a comment.  I found this updated recipe on Allrecipes.com and it was even easier then Nana's. If you can even believe that.   Hope you enjoy this Gem!
